STAMFORD, Conn. — A motorcyclist was pronounced dead at 8:20 p.m. Monday after crashing into a Nissan Pathfinder on Hope Street. The victim was not wearing a helmet and suffered severe head trauma in the collision, a Stamford Police Department press release said.

Fernando Quintero-Montano, 38, of Stamford, was driving his 1997 Kawasaki Motorcycle at about 7:30 p.m. when he collided with the vehicle driven by Francisco Gaviola, 24, of Norwalk.
