If so, the Connecticut State Police are looking for the man in connection with a stolen vehicle and a car burglary, according to Trooper Kelly Grant.

State police received word of the car burglary early Thursday when a resident called to report a purse in the roadway in from of a home on Scuppo Road in Waterbury, Grant said.

Upon arrival, troopers discovered the purse belonged to a woman on Scuppo who told officers that cash and credit cards had also been taken from her vehicle. Her card was used at a store in Thomaston, state police said.

While investigating the first incident, police received word of a stolen vehicle at a separate address on the same street. The vehicle, a 2017 Subaru Outback was stolen, along with a purse and credit cards, Grant said.

The vehicle was quickly located in Bristol and surveillance video shows the person who used the cards.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Woodbury Trooper's Office at 203-263-3400 or Troop L at 860-626-7971.
