A private burial will be held for Judith Debartholomew, who died Nov. 19 at her Stamford home at the age of 80.
She had a passion for baseball and was devoted to the New York Yankees. Debartholomew also adored animals. Her dogs, Morgan and Chloie, gave her great joy. Her hobbies included sewing, golfing and reading. One of her greatest delights was spending time vacationing with husband Carl.
She was predeceased by her husband and her sister.
She is survived by daughter Dana Currie of Norwalk; and three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Dana Currie, Debartholomew's daughter, will receive friends at the family home from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23. Donations in Debartholomew's memory may be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 520 8th Ave., 7th Floor, New York, NY 10018.
