A study conducted at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine weighed the attraction of mosquitoes between identical twins and fraternal twins. The identical pair similarly were attracted by the insects while the fraternal twins seemed to either repel or attract these pesky bugs, reported the Huffington Post.
Though many people already are aware of the fact mosquitoes are attracted to some people more than others, the scientists know that narrowing down the exact reason why can do more than just prevent bug bites during mosquito season. Finding a way to control the insects can help prevent the spread of diseases, like malaria and dengue, reported the Huffington Post.
