Heavy Rain Causes Delays, Ponding On I-95 Across Fairfield County

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- The Connecticut Department of Transportation is reporting traffic tie-ups along I-95 for nearly 25 miles in Fairfield County on Monday afternoon.

The delays extend from Exit 3 in Greenwich to Exit 25 in Bridgeport after heavy rain fell for most of the day. 

Delays on southbound I-95 are also reported for 5 miles from Exit 16 in Norwalk to Exit 11 in Darien.
