Greenwich United Way Recruits Volunteers For Reading Program

GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Greenwich United Way Reading Champions program needs additional tutors for the current school year.

The program trains and places tutors with individual K-6 students who work one on one for an hour each week. Tutors focus on building students’ fluency skills in sessions that take place at the following locations: North Mianus School, The BANC After-School Program, New Lebanon School, Glenville School, North Street School, The International School at Dundee, Julian Curtiss School, Cos Cob School, Hamilton Avenue School, Riverside School, The CCI Homework Club, YWCA, and The Boys and Girls Club of Greenwich.
