STAMFORD, Conn. — The city of Stamford will not be collecting garbage on Christmas Day.
Garbage and recycling pick-up will take place on Monday as normally scheduled. The transfer station and recycling centers will close at 11 a.m. on Christmas Eve, and be closed on Tuesday.
Here is the schedule for the rest of Christmas Week: Normal Pick Up Day: Tuesday, Collected Wednesday Normal Pick Up Day: Wednesday, Collected Thursday Normal Pick Up Day: Thursday, Collected Friday Normal Pick Up Day: Friday, Collected Saturday
