Barry Barkinsky, 62, was found dead when police were asked to perform a welfare check because he hadn't been seen or heard from in a couple of days, the Connecticut Post reported. Stamford police, who found a suicide note, believe he died by grinding up a mixture of prescription pills and liquor, said the Connecticut Post.

Barkinsky, the former emergency manager at Bridgeport Hospital and a teacher at the hospital's nursing school, was accused of forcibly performing enemas on several men and secretly photographing at least a dozen others, according to the Connecticut Post. He pleaded not guilty to the charges when he was arraigned in Bridgeport Superior Court on April 19, added the Connecticut Post.
