Eversource Reports Power Outages In Stamford After Storm

updated: FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — After strong thunderstorms and heavy rain moved through Fairfield County late Thursday afternoon, many areas reported power outages.

As of 10:45 p.m., these power outages were reported by Eversource:

  • Greenwich: 357 customers
  • Stamford: 515 customers, down from 755 
It was not clear when the outages would be restored. 

Power outages were already restored in Fairfield, Stratford, New Canaan, Darien, Wilton, Ridgefield and Newtown.
