STAMFORD, Conn. — The Ferguson Library in downtown Stamford will soon be sporting a fresher, restored look.
Crews worked to renovate the library’s entrance Wednesday afternoon, which is no stranger to construction.
In January, the library celebrated the opening of a new walkway that made it possible for the mobility challenged to access the library’s Starbucks location from an exterior entrance . Before the library opened the walkway, the Starbucks was accessible only from the outside by stairs.
The walkway was the first phase in a project to create a new terrace and garden, where the community can enjoy a coffee and a book, the Daily Voice previously reported.
