Connecticut To Close DMV Offices Friday, Saturday For Presidents Day

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- If you need to stop by the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles this week, plan ahead. 

All Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicle offices will be closed on Friday and Saturday in observance of President's Day.

DMV offices will be closed on Friday, Feb. 12 and Saturday, Feb. 13 in observance of Presidents Day. 

If you need a driver's license, all American Automobile Association offices will be open to process renewals during this time period. 

DMV's major customer service centers will have the following schedule this week: 

  • Wednesday: 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. 
  • Thursday: 9:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. 
  • Friday: Closed for holiday
  • Saturday: Closed for holiday
  • Sunday: Closed for regular schedule
  • Monday: Closed for regular schedule
DMV offices are normally closed on Sundays and Mondays, so the holidays are shifted to this week for DMV workers.
