STAMFORD, Conn. - Chelsea Piers Connecticut hosted the fourth annual Stamford Hospital Health, Wellness & Sports Expo on Saturday and Sunday, with free health screenings, a walk/run event and a food drive.
Results of the screenings were offered while participants were still at the expo, and results can also be recorded in a wellness passport — a new feature this year. The passport provides documentation that participants can show to their doctors, or provide a point of reference at a later date.
Staff members from the hospital were on hand to interact with the public. The run and walk, held before the health Expo, benefited the Food Bank of lower Fairfield County.
