STAMFORD, Conn. – Westhill High School is hosting its ninth annual AVID Family Night on Thursday, Nov. 13, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Raynor cafeteria.
Each fall the Westhill Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) Program, a program that helps students prepare for college eligibility, hosts a dinner for its students and their families.
The evening will feature remarks by the Westhill High School dean, who will speak to parents about strategies for helping students be successful, and an AVID alumni who will graduate from the University of Connecticut at Stamford this year.
Activities include family portraits and games.
Westhill High School is at 125 Roxbury Road.
