Warmer Weekend Predicted For Stamford As Springs Moves Into April

STAMFORD, Conn. -- The last day of April was cool but sunny as spring finishes with its second month and enters May.

At Cove Island Park, boats were at rest at the marina while residents took advantage of the nice day to walk on Cove Island.

The National Weather Service is forecasting a slight chance of rain Friday with a possible high of 59 degrees. It is forecast to warm up more over the weekend.
