STAMFORD, Conn. -- “I daydream and wander to escape the mundane,'' Stamford artist Holly Danger said. "I’ve based a lot of my personal art on this.”

Danger is definitely a standout in the Stamford community because of her artwork.

When her art was showcased in the Stamford Artwalk last year, Danger felt the event “brought local artists out of the cracks and crevices of Stamford.”

After travels to other artistic venues across the country, Danger has found herself calling Stamford home, with particular thanks to one local gallery.

Franklin Street Works is where Danger has been able to find a budding artistic community of like-minded individuals.

Before calling Stamford home, Danger had a “deep feeling of being stuck,” which led to her series entitled “WanderLOST.” But since finding a thriving local artistic connection, Danger has transitioned the series to “WanderLUST.”

The idea behind “Wanderlust” is the notion that it’s okay to escape the planning and just be present to live in the now.

Danger describes her work as an exploration between “contrast, extremes, duality, longing for something greater, and moments of breakthrough.”

Building upon her local success, Danger is now using personal experiences and deep connection with the community to move even further with her art.

Creative Wellness is a concept Danger is currently working on behind-the-scenes.

Danger credits inspiration from the budding artistry in Stamford with businesses like Half Full Brewery, Franklin Street Works and Lorca Cafe.

She hopes her art can create a slow build for Gen Y, to bring new ideas to the forefront creatively that never existed before.

Danger has quite the impressive resume and wears many hats. Professionally, she is a Graphic Designer, Videographer, Video Editor, Art Director, and VJ. Personally, she is a projection artist, performer, world traveler, collage composer, and visual musician.

Diane Pauley, the PostGrad Coach, resides in Stamford. Always a lover of people, she finally learned how to harness her art and do it for a living. She is now on a mission to help other millennials do the same -- build up their art and be their own boss full time -- at PostGradolescence.com.
