Stamford's JCC Hosting Family Fun Day, Run/Walk To Benefit Preschool

STAMFORD, Conn. -- The Stamford JCC is hosting its eighth annual Family Day to benefit JumpStart at the JCC, a comprehensive preschool program for children with special needs.

Participants can choose their distance and their speed by taking part in a 5K/10K Run or Walk at the event.

It will be held on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 7.

The sign-in begins at 9 a.m. and the race starts at 9:30 a.m. The event is open to the community.

The Elite Sponsor is The Herbert and Sarah M. Gibor Charitable Foundation. The Diamond Sponsors are Auslander Kasindorf Group/Keller Williams Realty and the Dorf and Gotler Families.

The race is $36 for adults, $18 for students and kids, and free for children 5 and under.

For the safety of all participants and to satisfy insurance requirements, no bikes, skates, scooters or animals are permitted.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses, individuals or families starting at $136.
