STAMFORD, Conn. -- Digital magazines are now available at Stamford's Ferguson Library.
The library recently subscribed to Zinio, a digital magazine service that offers access to dozens of publications. Residents can read magazines such as The Oprah Magazine, National Geographic, Newsweek and Martha Stewart Living online.
"Zinio for Libraries, awarded Best New Database of 2012 by Library Journal, is billed as the world’s largest newsstand, offering multi-user access to popular publications," representatives said. "Zinio features complete, full-color, page-for-page magazines with intuitive navigation, key-word article search and interactive elements such as audio and video."
Periodicals can be viewed on most internet-enabled devices inside or outside the library. To get started on Zinio, residents are asked to visit the Information & Research/A – Z Databases page on The Ferguson Library’s website .
The Ferguson Library is at One Public Library Plaza in Stamford.
