Stamford's Ferguson Library Hosts Special Beatles Mutimedia Presentation

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Are you a Beatles fan? Take a fresh look at this legendary band through the eyes of professional Beatles scholar Aaron Krerowicz.

Krerowicz will present "The Beatles: Band of the Sixties," on Sunday, Jan. 18, at 3 p.m., at the Ernest A. DiMattia Building of The Ferguson Library. 

Explore The Beatles during the 1960's through this multimedia presentation, beginning with the band’s seminal visits to Hamburg, continuing through Beatlemania, and concluding with Abbey Road. The program will be supplemented with audio clips of music and excerpts from interviews with band members. Krerowicz studied The Beatles at the University of Hartford and has presented his findings through more than 100 presentations at libraries, universities, continuing education programs, and community centers throughout the United States. His first Beatles book, "The Beatles & the Avant-Garde," was released in December 2014,and he has several more in the works. 

A book sale and signing will follow the presentation and light refreshments will be served. The Ernest A. DiMattia, Jr. Building of The Ferguson Library is at the corner of Bedford and Broad streets in Stamford. For more information, call 203-351-8231.
