So said Suni Unger, founder and CEO of Unger Publishing, and the force behind the festival. Now in it's fifth year, the staff behind The Greenwich WINE + FOOD (and those ordering all that ice!) start the planning process on each festival the minute the last one is over.

"We're already talking to chefs for next year," said Unger. "As we definitely miss some towns."

Unger, a self-admitted foodie and Stamford resident who used to own Silvermine Market in New Canaan, said she would have loved something along the lines of this festival back in the day where all sides of the business -- chefs, foodies, consumers, businesses - come together and support each other.

Approximately 200 area busineses will be part of The Greenwich WINE + FOOD Festival with about 6,000 people expected.

New this year -- "We have to constantly find ways to outdo ourselves," said Unger -- a Tacos and Tequila Tent featuring a host of places in Fairfield and Westchester.

There is also an Empire City Casino tent with lots of games from the Yonkers destination and a Grillmaster tent featuring Celebrity Chef Terry French, winner of Food Network's "World Extreme Chef."

The Greenwich WINE+FOOD Festival, presented by Serendipity Magazine, which is owned by Unger’s company, Unger Publishing, benefits Paul Newman's Hole in the Wall Gang Camp and The Greenwich Department of Parks and Recreation Scholarship Fund.

The events start Wednesday night, Sept. 23, with an intimate, champagne dinner featuring Chef Rui Correia of Douro Restaurant at the new Gaia Restaurant in Greenwich and lasts through Saturday, Sept. 26 with a Culinary Village featuring a host of local and national chef restaurateurs, including “Iron Chef” Geoffrey Zakarian and TV Personality Alex Guarnaschelli
