Stamford Police Raise Funds For Special Olympics With Tip-a-cop Event

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Officers with the Stamford Police Department will host a Tip-A-Cop event to benefit Special Olympics Connecticut at Madonia Restaurant and Bar on Tuesday, June 23, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Madonia is at 1297 Long Ridge Road in Stamford. Reservations are suggested and may be made by calling (203)-322-8870.

During the event, officers will assist restaurant staff in taking orders and serving meals to restaurant patrons. At the end of the evening, all tips the officers receive for their efforts will go to Special Olympics Connecticut to support its year-round sports, health and fitness programs for athletes of all abilities.
