Ruchi Bhergaba and her son Vedante sang and danced along with Andrea Greenburg Wednesday afternoon at the Ferguson Librarys main branch. Bhergaba was not the only parent dancing -- Greenburg made every parent participate.
Youre their model, Greenburg said as parents kicked off their shoes and joined in the circle.
The instructor wanted all of the parents to sing and dance because the children often follow the adults' lead. Even if your child is following along on their own another child may watch and copy you, Greenburg says.
Greenburg is a teacher with Music Together of Fairfield County , which teaches children to sing ,dance and appreciate music, the website says. Music Together offers free classes at the Ferguson Library when they are in between semesters. They will be at the Harry Bennett Branch on Friday at 11:15 a.m.
