If you missed out on the Maple Sugar Festival Weekend or if you just can't get enough maple syrup, you can visit the Stamford Museum & Nature Center for one last look at the syrup production season.
The Sugarhouse will be open from 1-3 p.m. Sunday for visitors to see how the museum produces its pure maple syrup. It also will have a tapping demonstration from 1:30-2:30 p.m.
At 3 p.m., the museum will serve its favorite winter treat: vanilla ice cream with maple syrup.
The event is free to members. It is part of the gate admission for non-members. Admission is $10 for adults; $8 for seniors; $6 for students 18 and over with valid ID; $5 for children and free to members and children 3 and under.
The Stamford Museum & Nature Center is at 39 Scofieldtown Road in North Stamford. Call 203-322-1646 or visit its website for more information.
