Stamford Holds American Lung Association Fight For Air Climb

STAMFORD, Conn. -- The American Lung Association of the Northeast will climb 588 stairs in Trump Parc in Stamford, to raise money for lung disease research on Oct. 19.

The climb, known as the “vertical road race,” will begin registration at 8 a.m. The first climber will start an hour later. The Firefighter Challenge will begin at 11 a.m.

The event will have an awards ceremony immediately following the race at SBC Restaurant & Brewery in Stamford.

The Lung Association has been at the forefront of research, advocacy and education for lung diseases for more than 100 years.

Trump Parc Stamford is located at 1 Broad St.
