STAMFORD, Conn. Wells Fargo gave a grant of $10,000 to New Neighborhoods, Inc. to help the organization provide affordable housing in Stamford, Norwalk and Danbury, a press release said.
The true beneficiaries of the housing that this grant will help make possible are the men and women who use New Neighborhoods Inc.s affordable housing to move up the economic ladder and achieve self-sufficiency and the neighborhoods where we have a presence. New Neighborhoods, Inc . President & CEO Ross Burkhardt said in the release.
"We're pleased to partner with New Neighborhoods, Inc. to support affordable housing because preserving and building rental and home ownership opportunities is one of the best ways to stabilize communities, Arnoldo Ulloa, Wells Fargos community development officer for Connecticut, said in the release.
Based in Stamford, the organization has developed over 500 units for family and senior citizens, and 375 units in nine buildings it manages.
