Stamford Gardener Dishes Dirt On Fall Lawn Preparation

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Master Gardener Dan Schiefferle will show Stamford residents how to prepare their lawns for next spring and summer in a presentation at the Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens in Stamford on Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 7 p.m.

This class will provide a step-by-step approach to renovate an existing lawn or to establish a new lawn.

Renovation of a lawn in the late summer or early fall provides it with the proper time to become well established before it faces competition from weeds and hot dry weather the following summer.

Admission for the lecture is $25.
