The sold-out Platinum Ball was attended by almost 300 guests who raised the record-breaking amount for the organization. The proceeds from the evening will go directly to Person-to-Person’s Campership program, sending hundreds of Stamford elementary children to day camp this summer.

Guests began the evening with the signature cocktail Platinum Punch, courtesy of Diageo, and passed hors d’oeuvres. Attendees could also participate in a shoreline golf drive competition and silent auction. CK Swett led the heated live auction, which was followed by a gourmet dinner of filet mignon and lobster tail. A speech from a former camper preceded a very successful paddle raise, and live music was provided by The Sultans.

“There isn’t a better way to mark the 20th Anniversary of Opus than the success of The Platinum Ball,” said co-president Kristina Gregory. “It was wonderful to see so many former presidents in attendance as well as such generous support for the Campership program.”
