The nonprofit's float, sponsored by Wilton's natural cat and dog food company Blue Buffalo, will be pulled by the Wish Truck.

"This incredible opportunity to be featured in such an enormous event as big as the UBS Parade Spectacular is something we want to share with the Connecticut community," said Michael Dominick, community and media relations manager for Make-A-Wish Connecticut.

The float is themed “I wish to have a forever friend.” (See artist's rendering above.)

Wish Kids, board Chairman Keith Herzig, President & CEO Pam Keough, and executives of Blue Buffalo will all be riding on the float, as well as celebrity dogs, including Sandy from the hit motion picture “Annie” and Murray from the Disney Channel movie “Frenemies.”
