"We really embrace all of the seasons here," said Robin Wexler, director media relations and marketing at the Stamford landmark.
There will be apple cider demonstrations, a scarecrow contest, hay rides and a special treat - trekking with llamas, she said. People of all ages will be able to walk with the llamas.
"It's not something you can do every day," she said with a laugh.
Other activities include an apple slingshot, farm animal demonstrations, live music with Jay and Ray, face-painting, storytelling with Ms. Karen, and children's crafts.
The event is being held rain or shine from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. A special event that will be held at 1 p.m. each is the Halloween costume parade, she said.
A special attraction will be the 13 food trucks parked on site offering their treats -- with six on Saturday and seven on Sunday. Patrons can indulge their appetites with food ranging from tacos to pierogies to lobster to pizza, Wexler said.
