It's Beach Sticker Season In Stamford

STAMFORD, Conn. — Planning on going to any of the Stamford beaches? Make sure you get a sticker first.

Parking passes are needed at Cove Island, Cummings, West Beach, Southfield and Dorothy Heroy parks from May 1 through Sept. 30. Passes can be purchased at the city’s Cashiering and Permitting office, a statement said.

Beach sticker prices are as follows:

  • Stamford resident with car registered in Stamford: $20
  • Stamford resident with car not registered in Stamford: $95
  • Stamford senior citizen with car registered in Stamford: $7
  • Stamford senior citizen with car not registered in Stamford: $35
  • Seasonal weekday pass for nonresidents: $225

Anyone looking to buy a beach sticker needs a driver’s license. A nonresident needs an oil, electric or gas bill as well as a license. Senior citizens need a license that proves an age of 62 or older. Payments can be made by cash, check or Discover, Visa or Master Card, the statement said. 

Normal office hours for cashiering and permitting is 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Monday through Friday, with special hours of 8:15 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. Monday through Thursday from May 13 through June 28.

The Cashiering and Permitting Office is located on the first floor of the Stamford Government Center, 888 Washington Blvd.
