According to a post on WherePetsAreFound.com, Penne is a "free confident flyer" who likely fled into the bushes or hedges when the fire broke out. He is described as a medium-size parrot who responds to his name. He was hand-reared and is friendly, but will likely be stressed. Cold temperatures at night have the family concerned about Penne's safety.

"He loves pasta, burritos and oatmeal so will be interested in food, and will need water. if found or sighted I recommend having some treats on hand to lure him," the post said. "The family is really hoping and praying he is recovered and gets back to warmth."

Anybody who lives in the area should keep their eyes tilted up in case they catch sight of Penne. If you see a bird that looks like him, email khyle785@yahoo.com or use the Contact Form on the Where Pets Are Found page. You can also use the #FindPenne hashtag on social media to help spread the word.

"Penne the parrot & her Mom Alice have been active members of the Pet loving community on Twitter for 7 years; supporting many in their hour of need and sharing views on inclusion and social justice as @KillerParrot," the post reads. "It is now our turn to support Alice in the search for Penne."
