AmeriCares Clinic Adds Boys & Girls Club Of Stamford To Lineup

STAMFORD, Conn. – The AmeriCares Free Clinic of Stamford will now make stops from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays at the Boys & Girls Club, 347 Stillwater Ave.

The traveling clinic travels three days a week to provide basic medical care to those who live in Stamford and Darien but do not have health insurance.

The clinic also stops on Tuesdays at Neighbors Link on Selleck Street and on Thursdays at Domus on Lockwood Avenue. The services available include administering of medications and performing of lab work and diagnostic testing, all for free.

The AmeriCares Free Clinic is the only free clinic in Stamford and runs the largest free clinic network in Connecticut. Almost one out of every five Stamford residents is without insurance. Through the four clinic locations in Fairfield County, 3,000 residents receive services.
