But on Friday, officers from Troop E in Montville helped round up about 10 cows that became loose along I-395 in Griswold.

It's unclear how the cows got so close to the highway in southeastern Connecticut near Mohegan Sun or where they came from. All 10 cows wound up being safe and sound.
