“While your dog may not know that it’s Valentine’s Day, she’ll be happy you’re giving her extra love and attention,” she says. Here are her ideas for pleasing your furry Valentine:
- Buy him some “doggy candy.” A box of chocolates is romantic, but not a good choice for dogs. Instead, pick up some frosted doggy cookies at the local pet store, or create a homemade treat by spreading peanut butter and banana between a couple of dog biscuits. Pop it in the freezer for an hour before serving.
- Treat her to a spa day. Who doesn’t enjoy a little pampering? After a massaging shampoo, moisturizing treatment and pedicure, she’ll be healthy and happy.
