The show was held during picture perfect weather from Sept. 22 to 25 at Norwalk's Cove Marina on the outskirts of Calf Pasture Beach.
The annual event drew the highest attendance since 2009. This increase in size wasn't just in attendees, however. More boats were added this year, including an added dock to hold the 260 in-water boats on display.
Show Manger Jon Pritko said, "The just keeps growing more and more each year."
With several different retailers and companies to select from, the show "offers something for everyone. Whether you are looking for a 72-foot yacht, a 14-foot day cruiser, or a Stand Up Paddleboard, we have it," Pritko said.
Several outlets throughout the grounds were equipped with nautical gear and apparel for those in need of an aquatic upgrade.
Along with a plethora of boats, gear, and gadgets to choose from various companies, several local food stalls were throughout the show to sustain your hunger along with various fun-filled activities for children to make this outing one for the whole family.
Exhibits from the Maritime Aquarium and other local organizations provided games and learning experiences for children and adults alike looking to learn about marine life and recreation. When asking one local resident what he disliked about the show he exclaimed with a grin, "Too bad it couldn't last longer!"
