It is estimated that more than 7 million Americans are walking around with artificial knees, hips and shoulders. Moreover, the number of these surgeries performed each year is on the rise and the average age of people receiving new joints is on the decline. Dr. Seth Miller notes that adults in the 50s are opting for joint replacement because they are unwilling to let chronic joint pain from past injuries or arthritis interrupt their active lifestyles. “Joint replacement surgery has come so far that it allows for a relatively shorter and easier recovery process for the patient. The only regret we hear from patients is that they waited so long to have it done.”

With 22 sub-specialty trained physicians in orthopedics, neurosurgery, sports medicine and physical medicine rehabilitation, ONS provides comprehensive, patient-centered non-surgical and surgical care to residents of Fairfield and Westchester at their offices in Greenwich and Stamford. ONS is in-network with most major insurances. For more information, click here.
