Times reviewer Patricia Brooks praised Kumo for its wide selection of sushi and hot dishes, including hibachi-style beef, squid, scallops and more.
The Times said the value at Kumo is second-to-none with all-you-can eat lunches for $10.99 and dinners for $18.99.
Due to the buffet-style, the Times recommends getting to Kumo around 12:30 p.m. for lunch or before 6 p.m. for dinner as the dishes tend to dry out after being left on the buffet line.
Kumo is located at 850 E. Main St. in Stamford and is open Sundays through Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays until 11 p.m.
