Michelle Obama Goes To Bat For Film Of Stamford's Jackie Robinson

STAMFORD, Conn. -- First lady Michelle Obama praised the upcoming movie "42" during a White House event Tuesday. The movie dramatizes the struggle of Jackie Robinson, who lived in Stamford, to integrate Major League Baseball. 

Following a welcome from First Lady Michelle Obama, 80 high school and college students from across the country participate in an interactive student workshop with the cast and crew of the film "42."

The stars of the movie -- Chadwick Boseman and Harrison Ford -- appeared at the event along with Jackie Robinson's wife, Rachel. The workshop was for a group of high school and college students who saw the movie in the White House theater.
