“This event sells out every year and it’s easy to understand why,” said Zoo Director Gregg Dancho. “What could be better than enjoying the zoo on a beautiful early summer night while sampling food, wine and beer, with live music and animals on exhibit?”
Hosted by Turnpike Spirit Shop of Fairfield, guests will enjoy sampling dozens of different wine and beer selections.
This expedition of taste will feature delectable fare from several local establishments, including BRYAC Restaurant & Raw Bar, Carl Anthony Restaurant and Catering, Dave Grant Catering/House of Bones BBQ, Geronimo Tequila Bar and Southwest Grill, Hub and Spoke, Luigi’s Italian Pastry, Outrigger’s Restaurant, Source Coffeehouse and Vazzy’s.
Tickets are $70 each for groups of four or more, $75 for individual tickets and $80 at the door.
From 5 to 6 p.m., Tito’s Handmade Vodka will host a VIP cocktail reception, including cocktail tasting, hors d’oeuvres and a special animal program. VIP tickets are available at $120 each.
