Dive In: Stamford Prepares To Open Beaches, Pools For Summer Season

STAMFORD, Conn. -- The beaches and pools in Stamford will be opening soon for the summer season.

The beach, pool and lifeguard hours are as follows:

Cove Island, Quigley, Cummings, West beaches:

  • May 28 to June 15: Friday, (West Beach only), Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. 
  • June 15 to Aug. 30: Seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Quigley, Saturday and Sunday only 
  • Sept. 3 to 5 (Labor Day weekend): 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Reduced swim areas may be used. 

Heroy Pool:

  • June 18 to Aug. 14, with weekends only until June 25: Mondays to Fridays from 3 to 6 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m.
