Zumba Event In Stamford Plans To Share Proceeds With Several Charities

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Zumba instructors from Connecticut and New York will host a “master charity event” on Sunday, July 31, at The Palms Nightclub in Stamford.

The two-hour event begins at 1 p.m. and costs $15 in advance or $20 at the door. The Palace is located at 129 Atlantic St. in Stamford.

The fundraiser will donate proceeds to several local charities. The event is organized by Christina Rabasco, a veteran Zumba instructor who conducts classes throughout Stamford, including Underground Fitness, Chelsea Piers Connecticut and Equinox. Tristan Mogollon co-hosts the event with Rabasco. Participants will also be permitted to donate to charity of their own choosing.
