STAMFORD, CONN. — A family camp out, a screening of the film "Miss Bala" and a sunset sail on Long Island Sound highlight this weekend's calendar in Stamford. Here's a collection of some of the events happening in and around the city over the next three days.

Friday, July 27

Friday Farm Market: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Foodies and those interested in purchasing fresh, locally grown produce can head over to the weekly Farmers' Market. Stamford Museum & Nature Center, 39 Scofieldtown Road.

Medicare Counseling in Stamford: 2:15 to 5:15 p.m. Retirees and those about to retire can learn ways to maximize their Medicare benefits. Harry Bennett Branch of the Ferguson Library, 115 Vine Road.

SoundWaters Sunset Sail : 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. A schooner sets sail. Bring your own dinner. Stamford Harbor Park Marina, 860 Canal St.

Learn Basic Internet : 2 to 3:30 p.m. Haven't tried the Internet yet? Head over to the Ferguson Library to learn all about it. Must be familiar with Microsoft Windows and how to use a keyboard and mouse. Ferguson Library, 1 Public Library Plaza, at Bedford and Broad streets.

Annual Summer Family Camp Out: 5:30 p.m. to 9 a.m. Sunday. Grab your kids, pitch your tent and camp out this weekend Members pay $100 for one parent/one child and $35 for each additional family member. "Miss Bala" Screening: 2 p.m. The Ferguson Library is screening the subtitled film that stars Stephanie Sigman, Irene Azuela and Noe Hernandez. The Ferguson Library, 1 Public Library Plaza, at Bedford and Broad streets.

Sunday Concert Series at the Bartlett Arboretum: 5 to 7 p.m. Enjoy some light rock and easy listening music with Sister Sun. Admission is $5 for members, $10 for nonmembers. Bartlett Arboretum, 151 Brookdale Road.

Worship Under the Trees: 10 a.m. The Church of Christ the Healer is holding services outdoors under a leafy canopy. The Rev. Kate Heichler presides. Church of Christ the Healer, 20 Brookdale Road at High Ridge Road.
