What To Do In Stamford This Week

Monday, Jan. 21 Martin Luther King Jr. March: 10 a.m. Celebrate the holiday marching the streets of Stamford. It kicks off at Bethel AME Church, 150 Fairfield Ave., with lunch to follow at the Yerwood Center, 90 Fairfield Ave.

Tuesday, Jan. 22 Board of Education: 7 p.m. The school board will have its regular full board meeting in the conference room on the fifth floor of the Stamford Government Center, 888 Washington Blvd.

Wednesday, Jan.23 Board of Representatives: 7 p.m. The operations committee of the Stamford Board of Representatives will meet in the Republican Caucus Room on the fourth floor of the government center.

Thursday, Jan.24 Dog Training Lecture: 7 p.m. Rob Mullin, owner of K-9 Wizard & Co. will be giving puppy owners tips for general house training and other problem solving tips. The event is free to attend and is at the Stamford Veterinary Center, 633 Hope St.

Friday, Jan. 25 After School Fun: 4:15 p.m. The Harry Bennett Branch of the Ferguson Library, 115 Vine Road, will have plenty of kids activities going on. The event is free and recommended for kids from kindergarten through third grade.
