Friday, March 1
Astronomy Nights: 7 p.m. The Stamford Museum & Nature Center, 39 Scofieldtown Road, will teach people all about comets, and then, if weather allows, let them look through its 22-inch telescope at the night sky. Tickets are $3 for adults and $2 for children.
Saturday, March 2
Meet The Chief: 1 to 3 p.m. Police Chief Jonathan Fontneau will hold the first of many community meetings. This one is for people of the West Side and Downtown area and will be held at the Stamford Government Center, 888 Washington Blvd.
Sunday, March 3
Watch “The Sessions” With John Hawkes: 1:30 p.m. The Avon Theatre, 272 Bedford St., will show the movie “The Sessions” and then host a question-and-answer session with the film’s star John Hawkes. Tickets are $6 for members and $11 for non-members.
