What To Do In Stamford This Weekend

Friday, Feb. 22

Friday Flicks: 2 p.m. Take the kids to the Ferguson Library to watch the “Big Miracle,” Friday afternoon. The film is rated PG and is 107 minutes long.

Saturday, Feb. 23

Lewis Black: The Rant Is Due: 8 p.m. The stand-up comedian will take his act to Stamford’s Palace Theater, 61 Atlantic St., ticket prices are $45 to $65 and can be purchased online.

Sunday, Feb. 24

The Oscars at the Avon: 7 p.m. Walk the red carpet just like the stars without leaving Stamford as the Avon Theatre, 272 Bedford St., will hold a viewing party for Hollywood’s awards night. The event is $75 for members and $100 for non-members.
