What To Do In Stamford This Week

Monday, Feb. 18

Winter Break Out Day: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Take the kids to the Stamford Museum & Nature Center, 39 Scofieldtown Road, to partake in several activities. The event is free with gate admission.

Tuesday, Feb. 19

Planning Board: 7 p.m. The city’s planning board will discuss and decide upon next year’s capital budget. The meeting will take place in the Land Use Area on the seventh floor of the Stamford Government Center, 888 Washington Blvd.

Wednesday, Feb. 20

Book Discussion: 6 p.m. Former Stamford cop Vito Collucci Jr. will discuss “Rogue Town,” the book he co-authored about corruption in the city. It will take place at the Ferguson Library and costs $15 to attend.

Thursday, Feb. 21

“The Big Picture”: 7:30 p.m. The film will be screened at the Avon Theatre, 272 Bedford St. Ticket prices are: Carte Blanche: free, Members: $6, Students and Seniors: $8, Nonmembers: $11.

Friday, Feb. 22

Friday Flick: 2 p.m. The Ferguson Library will screen the movie “The Big Miracle,” which is rated PG, and runs 107 minutes. 1 Library Plaza.
