Monday, Jan. 14

Gun Violence Community Meeting: 7 p.m. The Interfaith Council of Southwestern Connecticut will have several speakers talk about gun control. The meeting will be at the First Congregational Church, 1 Walton Place.

Tuesday, Jan.15

Board of Education: 7 p.m. The school board will hold two committee meetings, fiscal and operations, in its fifth floor conference room at the Stamford Government Center, 888 Washington Blvd.

Wednesday, Jan. 16

Dance With Me Stamford's Tony Dovolani Hosts Wellness Expo: 7 to 10 p.m. Learn how to ballroom dance and meet wellness experts from around the area. Admission is $15 per person. Dance With Me Stamford, 20 Summer St.

Thursday, Jan. 17

American History Lecture: 6:30 p.m. The Ferguson Library will host author Missy Wolfe, who will discuss an early Greenwich settler. The event is free. 1 Library Plaza.

Friday, Jan. 18

Agatha Christie’s “The Unexpected Guest:” 8 p.m. Curtain Call will do its production of Christie’s play. Tickets are $29 for adults, $22 for senior citizens and $14.50 for students and children. 1349 Newfield Ave.
