Monday, Jan. 7

Board of Representatives: 8 p.m. The board will have its regular monthly meeting on the fourth floor of the Stamford Government Center.

Tuesday, Jan. 8

Board of Education: 7 p.m. The board will have two committee meetings, labor and policy, in the conference room on the fifth floor of the Stamford Government Center.

Wednesday, Jan. 9

The Andrew Gale Film Series: Noon. The film series will start with “Arbitrage,” which is rated R and runs 98 minutes. The series will continue Wednesdays at noon. View the complete series here. Ferguson Library, 1 Library Plaza.

Thursday, Jan. 10

Board of Finance: 7 p.m. The board will hold its regular monthly meeting in its conference room on the fourth floor of the Stamford Government Center.

Friday, Jan. 11

Astronomy Nights: 7 p.m. Search for exoplanets. The event is recommended for children 5 and older, and admission is free to members, and $3 for non-member adults, and $2 for non-member children. Stamford Museum & Nature Center’s observatory, 39 Scofieldtown Road.
