An accomplished artist and educated in the fine arts, Sparks holds a bachelor's and a master's degree in fine arts and over time has served as an adjunct professor at the Connecticut Institute of Art, Bronx Community College, and presently the College of Mount Saint Vincent.
Sparks’ paintings center on the theme of complexity and diversity as found in nature. He has many public collections and is “Artist In Residence” in a number of locations in the area.
The exhibit's opening is scheduled for Friday, March 11, from 7 - 9 p.m. Starting on March 12, the exhibit will be open to the public every Saturday from noon - 2 p.m. The closing of the show will be on Sunday, March 27, from noon - 2 p.m.
