The exhibit runs from March 28 to May 3. An artists’ reception will be held on Friday, April 10, from 6-8:30 p.m.

The exhibit will be Loft Artists' East Gallery at 575 Pacific St.  in Stamford. The exhibition will be held Saturdays and Sundays from 1-4:30 p.m.

The traits between the artwork of Brazilian artist Clair Koch and Colombian artist Rosa Colón revolve around an intense love for nature, its forms and all of the interwoven spiritual connections.

For Koch, the connection is achieved through meditation and inner discovery, and for artist and art educator Rosa Colón, long nature walks and observation to her surroundings inspire her. Both artists will exhibit their new paintings in both oil and collages from recycled materials, pressed flowers and leaves.

Koch, a longtime member of the Loft Artists Association, maintains a working studio at its site in Stamford. She is represented by galleries in the United States, Europe and Brazil. She is a native of Brazil.

Colón, a longtime resident of Stamford,  joined the Loft Artists Association in 2012, where she also maintains her studio.

An artist with extensive art studies at universities and private classes, Colón is also an art instructor who specializes in early childhood art education. Her skill captures significant moments inspired by her fascination with nature's multifaceted forms, shapes and vibrant colors.

The Loft Artist Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to building connections within Fairfield County’s visual arts community and exposing the general public to culture and artistic work. For directions and more information visit its website or call 203-247-2027
