The exhibition is also open from 1 to 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays until Nov. 30.

The Loft Artists Association is to welcoming Backer’s work back to East Gallery. Backer was born in Budapest and raised in Israel, where she graduated from Hebrew University. Her sculptures in alabaster and marble have been exhibited extensively throughout the United States in galleries, juried shows and museums and are included in several private collections.

This is Gordon’s first time exhibiting her collection of figurative collages and drawings as a group. Though her work is inspired by her drawings from private sessions with a model, it speaks more about the creative magic that happens when inspiration and form collide. Gordon’s art training comes from the Greenwich Art Society, Silvermine Arts Guild and the Rowayton Arts Center. She holds an undergraduate degree from Boston University and a master’s degree from Baruch College. She has exhibited regionally, has received many awards and is the current Loft Artists Association president.

Admission and parking are free. For directions and more information, visit the Loft Artists website here or call 203-247-2027
